After July 1, 2008, an applicant upgrading to become a broker will be required to provide proof of 120 hours of education. That will include either the new 75 hour sales course and the 45 broker course or the old 45 hour sales course, the 30 hour remedial course and the 45 hour broker course. A salesperson applicant must show proof of the 45 hour sales course completed prior to 7/1/08 and the 30 hour remedial course or the new 75 hour course.
